Meet Jennifer Taylor, Founder of Luv Bug Pet Nanny

For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion to work with animals. I simply believe that I was created this way.  I have a deep respect for them, I love them, appreciate who they are and understand them.  Every animal deserves that, sometimes even the ‘human kind!’  

Have you ever looked into the eyes of an abused dog or cat? What do their eyes tell you? They tell a story. This is where my story begins.

When I was a child growing up, I witnessed animal abuse.  The kind of abuse, that is so horrific that it changes you as a person.  As a little girl who loved and adored animals, I struggled to witness this.  To this day, I will not watch a movie of any kind that has animals in it. I am afraid something awful will happen. 

As a certified Pet First Aid and CPR provider, and trained in rescue efforts, I have a special gift for working with abused pets. Luv Bug Pet Nanny is the culmination of my lifelong dream to care for animals and ensure they receive the love and respect they deserve.

Having been a Foster Mom to many doggies in my adult life, I have had the opportunity to be a part of a C-Section and help breathe for nine little puppies that could not yet breathe on their own.

I have helped a wildlife organization raise a fawn. Its mother was killed on the road.

I have helped the Columbus Zoo rescue a mother Mallard with many ducklings from a sewer pipe along the side of a busy road and the list goes on.

Luv Bug Pet Nanny, my pet-sitting business, was created to help animals cope while their owners are not home. So many of our pets have separation anxiety and or simply need extra care such as administering medication for an ailment.

My current canine furbaby, Suri, is one I rescued over ten years ago from a busy Dayton street after witnessing her being hit twice by cars that didn’t bother to stop.

My company allows a professional pet sitter to come to your home and care for your pets when you can’t be there. This helps ease their stress while you are away. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and have been trained in rescue efforts for both wildlife and domestic animals. I specialize in abused pets.

Needless to say, my life has been an adventure thus far, with many chapters. Many of those chapters have not yet been written. The chapters yet to come are a rescue organization of my own.

I am a mother to four young adult children that I raised as a single mother.  In my spare time, I adore spending time with my grandchildren. One of my grands has special needs and helps me stay grounded everyday.

In 2011, I was named as a Top 25 Woman to Watch by Women in Business Networking. This honor continues to bless me with the many friendships and bonds over time with other entrepreneurs. I am an active networker in the Miami Valley area and love giving back to the community.
